Our Story
What started as a dream to bring the best of Carolina beach music to the foothills has grown into something special — a gathering where old friends reconnect and new ones are made. For eight years, Summerfest has been the place where the shag never stops, the sweet tea stays cold, and the good times roll.
This isn't some big corporate festival. Summerfest is like a family reunion with a really great band. It's neighbors sharing lawn chairs, couples dancing under the stars, and music that takes you back to those warm Carolina summers you never forget.

From The Mighty Tams to the Catalinas, from Band of OZ to The Castaways — we've hosted the legends of beach music on our stage. And in 2026, we're taking it to a whole new level with our brand-new facility near Smith Mountain Lake.
